Job Description
· Lead Business Development activities, establishing executive relationships, preparing business cases and consulting proposals for IT Strategy, Architecture Planning
and Enterprise Architecture engagements
· Design and develop enterprise architectures for large organisations and change programs. This covers financial modelling, development, execution and operations
architectures, and infrastructure planning. It also includes IT organisation design, IT governance, and IT innovation programs.
· Localise and Enhance Accenture thought leadership in the domains of Enterprise Architecture & SITE, including IT Transformation, IT Strategy and Planning, and
High Performance IT Assessments.
· Lead EA practice development in China, including personnel management and mentoring, recruiting, skills and capability building, and operations management.
Education:
A minimum four year undergraduate degree is required (computer science, mathematics, humanities etc). Ability to communicate in both English and Mandarin.
Consulting experience:
this includes the following characteristics:
o Well-developed consulting skills including the ability to clearly articulate high level solutions to clients in different forums.
o 9+ years in the IT industry, with minimum 3+ years experience as a consultant or working in a consulting role.
o Excellent oral and written presentation skills (client/expert forum presentations)
o Ability to manipulate abstract concepts and frameworks
o Excellent client service and relationship building skills at the senior IT executive level.
o Excellent organisational and time management skills
o Ability to work in unstructured situations
o Ability to lead project teams and in consulting or strong customer oriented environments.
o Skills in applying good processes where there may have been none.
Technical/Domain Criteria
·Enterprise Architecture. Experience as an architect developing enterprise and/or application architectures. Experience should include:
o Ability to teach and adapt Enterprise Architecture (EA) frameworks (such as Zachman, TOGAF, DoDAF, FEAF/TEAF, GERAM)
o Commercial experience in 3 of the following IT architecture styles: Client/Server, Batch, Data Warehousing, ERP/SCM/CRM, SOA/Integration, Mobile, Portal and Infrastructure. For each of the three, must have >12 months commercial experience as a technical architect.
o Understanding of architectural principles including performance, scalability, security, availability and flexibility and how to design for them.
·Technology acumen: Architectural knowledge of typical architectures found in large corporate clients, including hands on experience with:
o Variety of IT systems and applications including operating systems, security technologies and software design tools.
o J2EE and .NET technologies, including ability to determine appropriate server architectures including JSPs, Servlets, EJBs, Web Services, .NET Components
o Experience in integrating multiple vendor applications and legacy systems
·Financial Acumen. Good understanding of finance and accounting principles, along with deeper understanding of project/program/portfolio financial management procedures.
·Methodology: Broad experience across multiple methodologies, including:
o Experience of program management methodologies such as Six Sigma and PMI
o Experience with analysis and design methodologies (UML, MDA, OOD)
o Knowledge and application of infrastructure methodologies such as ITIL and CMM
