To manage all elements of sourcing and supplier management within APS including for business growth and profitability,

• New supplier sourcing and on boarding
• Assist on-going supplier assessment
• Product development with right price and execution as per designer’s requirement
• Production follow up management
• Management and development of division personnel within APS team.
• Managing projects.

Supplier sourcing strategy

· Work with MD to define AP sourcing strategy and monitor sourcing progress

Supply base management

· Develop new suppliers making sure all aspects of products, price, quality and compliance --- achieving and growing business

· Manage existing suppliers on capacity and price level

Product development

· Responsible for new supplier’s product development to drive business

Supervise product development of existing suppliers to grow business and achieve margin target

· Maintain good awareness of market (competitor, product, technology) and communicate effectively.

Follow up and day-to-day business

· Overlook follow up management

· Co-operate with technical QA manager local office and NYC

· Lead effective Designer and Production trip and supplier visit

· Managing projects

People and talent management

· Recruit new team member

· Plan and conduction induction for new employees

· Coach and performance manage team members with solid HR tools including annual review to ensure that requirements of business are met

· Identify any team training needs

· Arrange regular workshop to ensure knowledge on product collected and shared within team.

· Plan guidance to merchandisers' options for problem solving

· Monitor merchandise team to cost the initial prices right

· Monitoring WIP for bulk production, call out exceptions and provide solution
