Overall Purpose of Job

l Manufacturing Information Systems Project Manger Asia Pacific supports and maintains the integrity of existing implementations and manages new implementations and software development. The MIS system within TRW and its operations are set to increase with the continued introduction of complex product such as EPS which require this level of support.

Major Responsibilities

List the major responsibilities and accountabilities of this position. Include quantifiable data where appropriate (i.e. budget dollars, etc.)

Project Management for New Mfg System - ACC Implementations

· Communicate and plan the ACC implementations including cost and timing. with various parties: TRW sites, program management, mother plant, system developer and machine manufacturers.

· Define the machine-ACC interfaces, and define the customization scope based on existing functionalities.

· Monitor the implementation progress and provide support to address various issues.

· Support TRW sites and software vendors on the validation and acceptance of ACC.

Ongoing Support for TRW Sites with Existing Installations

· Assist sites and software vendors to address ACC ongoing operations, issues, and bug fixes.

ACC Data Quality and Integrity Audits

· Understand the ACC application and ACC data structures.

· Conduct and automate the data quality and integrity checks and reporting.

Oracle Database Administration

· Administer the central Mfg systems Oracle database, monitor the database health, and conduct routine checks.

· Support TRW sites with Oracle database administration: Setup and ongoing monitoring.

· Standardize the Oracle database configurations and the backup and disaster recovery procedures.

· Understand and monitor the data archive process - ETL program support.

ACC Cognos Report Support and Development

· Monitor and provide the ongoing support to existing Cognos reporting system.

· Understand and provide support to the ACC "Cubes" and production report generation processes.

· Understand new user requirements and specify the requirements for new development.

· Provide proper training to site users to improve the utilization of ACC Cognos reports.

ACC Development Management

· Specify the requirements to software vendor for development

· Plan the development and the rollout

Other Misc.

· Administer the relationship with the vendors and TRW sites.

· Other tasks as directed by AME & IS Directors

Education & Work Experience

Education: Bachelor's Degree or above in I.T. or Automation

Language: Ability to speak both Chinese and English

Experience:

· Experience in Mfg Systems,

· 5+ years working experience in I.T. and project management

· Application development experience with .NET is required.

· Data exchange experience with PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi) is preferred
