Project Sourcing Management Job Description
Top level job description:
The objective of the Project Sourcing Management is to manage a variety of projects to ensure the smooth and continuous move, including product sourcing, product development, cost negotiation, etc... . As needed, where the existing supply chain cannot be leveraged, you will work with the Supply Chain team together to identify and develop suppliers to support the project needs. You will work with multiple departments as well as external suppliers and customers, to achieve the procurement as well as design goals and objectives.
Skills and attributes:
1. IT skills in spreadsheets, presentations and documents (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
2. High degree of communication skills
3. Excellent spoken and written English language skills
4. Experience with and the understanding of foreign trade, sourcing, project management

Education, background, and training requirements:
1. Bachelor degree or equivalent
2. 3-5year experience in foreign trade/sourcing/project management
3. Automotive aftermarket tool background preferred

Detailed job requirements:
1. Work with the key suppliers with design initiatives
2. Source new suppliers and new products based on the requirement from the headquarter and customers
3. Work with the suppliers to establish cost saving with possible change options to the products
4. Coordinate the trip schedule for the visitors from abroad
5. Support quote activities for design quote projects
6. Responsible for cost reduction negotiations on new and existing designs
7. Follow up the changes on the products, cost, payment terms, etc.
8. Help improve the delivery, lead time, quality, etc.
9. Work with Product Managers for the promo arrangement, advertisement support, launch arrangement
10. Coordinate the artwork preparations and sample preparations
