英语CET-6级，2年相关工作经验。

【DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES】
Quotations and Engineering Estimates
· Calculate material and labor times based on wire harness drawings or proposed engineering changes to wire harness prints
· Enter required information into change control database
· Analyze blueprint detail, corresponding flag notes, and appropriate engineering specifications for inclusion in BOM
· Analyze cost differences between engineering estimates and quotations with Engineering and Sales
· Analyze the different between component/ wire harness cost and price as required
· Provide various reports and analyses out of the calculation system to support other job functions
· Support new business quotations if required
· Acquire internal and external suppliers component cost to support engineering estimates and quotations
· Estimate value of components as required to support customer timing
· Analyze component blueprint detail, corresponding flag notes, component drawings, engineering specifications, internal master labor list to assign labor codes to components
· Reconcile customer component pricing
· Maintain the component price/cost databases for accuracy in the cost estimating tool
Technical Knowledge and Customer Negotiations
· Prepare material and labor time breakdowns for negotiating drawing attributes, material quantities, labor times and wire harness tooling with customers
· Support Account Manager with customer negotiations as needed
· Accompany lead (engineering, quality, sales etc.) for internal manufacturing plants visits to compare the labor time calculations vs. actual manufacturing processes
Unique to Sr. Cost Estimator
· Train and mentor less experienced Cost Estimators on all responsibilities, procedures and processes as required
· Maintain and implement common calculation rules and guidelines among the Cost Estimators
· Support development and/or maintenance of Customer Cost Models
· Provide guidance to the Cost Estimating group during absence of the Supervisor Cost Estimating
· Maintain and update tables in the calculation system
· Have an advanced understanding of customer and affiliate costing processes
