Job Overview

The Training Manager is responsible for the administration of training and development for the AWT commercial team. The ideal candidate will need to be an effective communicator and liaise with commercial team leadership to frame immerging training needs and global peers to insure that best practices are understood and implemented within the region. The TM ll understands the business drivers of AWT and is able to tie training needs to value generation. The TM ll will also be comfortable learning and obtaining certifications for direct facilitation of courses critical to the development program needs of AWT. The senior person in this role will have a Bachelors Degree with 5 + years of training coordination plus an additional 5 years of experience relative to the industries which AWT serves.


Major Responsibilities

1.Updating and keeping relevant all technical and sales courses. This is necessary to keep the course focused on NPL and high profit margin products as well as keep the training exciting and new.
2.Canvassing LCTs/HPSTs for their needs and developing or finding training to meet those needs. Learning and understanding the strategic vision of PT&V and coordinating the training and development strategy to align with that vision.
3.Become certified and directly facilitate courses including but not limited to
Selling Skills; Professional Coaching Skills; Strategic Selling; Targeted Selection; Executive Impact; and DDI Leadership.
4.Take lead role in aligning the AWT program with SL, GV and global training programs to ensure the offerings and terminology allow for seamless transfer of knowledge and learning.
5.Maintain an annual training calendar. Facilitate and monitor documentation of employee training workshops. Maintain training courses and "The Learning Map" on the LMS system
6.Facilitate and monitor the Teletraining training courses. Maintain a calendar of Teletraining and coordinate announcements and power point distribution with the assigned presenters.
7.Conduct training programs at Sales Meetings to bring timely and cost effective training offerings to the districts.
