Position Requirements

Justification for Need: The Technician/ Jr Scientist position is required to support the New product growth metric and overall double digit sales, we need to increase Food and beverage R&D capability in Shanghai. Without this technician we have significant bottle necks which will have a negative impact on the overall business.

Area of Responsibility (business specifics): perform laboratory trials to support industry TSRs and application studies for food and beverage products, particularly PVPP and cellulosic based ASI products. These include bakery, processed meat, extruded foods , beer and wine applications. Report upon those results and provide data and results for application notes and marketing literature.

Desired Candidate Skills/Experience:.food technology experience is a plus but not essential. Operations , material sciences/ formulation/ industrial applications experience is strongly preferred over synthetic, process and analytical chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, life sciences etc. some lifting and physical work is required,

Educational Requirements:Experienced technician or operator with 5 years of working experience in a Material sciences/ Formulation/ Industrial applications laboratory OR more recent Food technology grad with 1-2 years experience and an appropriate BS or MS degree
