Job Overview
? Coordinate and provide direct technical support to the sales teams, including customer meetings, mill trials, specific product information, and strategic consultation. Be the regional technical expert for all products assigned.
? Identify all technical barriers to program success; marshal, coordinate, and lead Ashland resources as necessary to run successful trials, solve issues, defend business and accelerate growth.
? Introduce new technologies to the sales teams, including formal training. Help sales teams identify strategic target accounts based on new technology benefits.
? Work closely and directly with sales teams to develop strong customer relationships at existing and target accounts. Use relationships and technical expertise to gain new business opportunities.
? Communicate routinely with Applications personnel in other geographic regions to share product successes, learnings, obstacles, etc.
? Write thorough and timely trip reports for all mill visits, distribute to appropriate internal personnel. Keep good records of all mill visits, including objectives and outcomes.
? Maintain the highest safety standards - be accountable for personal safety performance
