Position Summary

As a FPGA / FW Developer you will develop & maintain products (units, nodes, networks, systems and solutions), including development activities like requirement analysis, design, integration, verification, configuration management, PLM support, product documentation.

Responsibilities & Tasks

· Be a part of a FW team responsible for design and maintenance of products within Ericsson’s Core Network solutions.

· To work with other team members to provide technical support to customer.

· To implement digital design and verification, including :

· Digital board design and lab test.

· Signal/Power Integrity simulation and signal quality analysis.

· FPGA module level RTL coding and verification

· Deliver design specification and test report.

· Provide support to manufacturing team to increase yield rate.

· Perform Continuous Analysis and Requirement Handling

· Develop and Test High Quality Products

· Perform Trouble Shooting and Customer Support

· Drive Continuous Improvements of Products and Processes

Position Qualifications & Requirements

· Bachelor degree or above from first level University

· Major in communication, computer science, Electronic engineering, Electromagnetic and microwave technology, automatic science or wireless communication.

· Experience in digital ASIC or FPGA development

· Strong knowledge of HDL languages (Verilog, VHDL)

· Below knowledge and skills are pluses:

o Knowledge on transmission line theory, electromagnetic field theory and time & frequency domain analysis.

o Experience with Cadence Concept and Allegro tools

o Embedded SW or DSP knowledge (MatLab)

o High speed digital design knowledge

o Experience in the use of lab equipment such as scopes, logic analyzers, pattern generators, oscilloscope, etc.

o Experiences with major SI/PI tools: Cadence Allegro, Hyperlynx, SiSoft, Sigrity, ADS, HFSS, CST and other tools.

o Good knowledge and experience on Verilog and/or VHDL

o Good at C/C++ design, good understanding of OOP

o Good experience in FPGA chips from Altera/Xilinx or Lattice.

o Knowledge of hardware design processes

o Experience in usage of EDA design tools (MentorGraphics, Cadence)

o Knowledge of main FPGA vendors design flows (Altera, Xilinx)

o Knowledge of verification languages (SystemVerilog, e-language)

o Development experience on Linux, familiar Makefile, Scripting like Perl

· Fluent in English/Chinese speaking and excellent in English/Chinese writing

· Good team player with strong communication skills

· Good Initiative and positive personality

· Self-motivated
