Education required:
University degree in engineering (mechanical, automotive, rail engineering, aviation engineering, A/C engineering etc., or other mechanical related); or Management with Engineer Background
Professional Experience required:
Senior Operation Manager position in the area of assembly/ manufacturing industry
(e.g. railway, automotive, machine construction, A/C etc.); Supply Chain Managerment Experience and some understanding of finance desired; .
Min. Years:10
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Support STRAP, mid-term and short-term planning processes
Support Budget planning, analysis, review and ongoing controlling
People Leadership (Target setting and controlling, Performance and Competency Appraisal, Feedback and
Recognition, People Placement Planning, People Development, etc.)
Develop, deploy and execute functional strategies
Execute functional strategies; Be responsible for all assigned process and KPI's for the team.
Drive business processes in support with local and the Group's guidelines, eg IRIS, REX, etc. (refer to Appendix 1 for details)
Successfully implement the ramp-up of production as well as a lean manufacturing process with substantial improvements in productivity, and logistic.
Coordinate all the operation elements of the company, including Production Purchasing and Logistic
Cost analysis, review and ongoing controlling & saving
Integrate and implement *** and/or KB Group strategies and master projects
Assure factory output on adequate quality level according to production program; ensure ramp-up of production
Assure continuoes improvement and organisation of production as required by Knorr internal production system
Assure localization progress by efficient production engineering
Supervise material management, purchase of all kind of material and equipment, receiving, storage and dispatch
Assure constant improvement of productivity and economy
Assure all operation rules, procedures, action & documentations follow ISO9001
Development of an adequate supplier level in China (price, quality, logistics)
Hard Skills required:
Material flow optimization
Engineering capability, knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes state-of-the-art
Process knowledge of Corporate Excellence/*** Production System/HVAC Excellence
Production systems used in HVAC industrie
Factory planning, procedure and layout optimization
Knowledge in Planing output of factory
Experience in coordinate a purchasing team
Production systems used in HVAC industry

Function and use of the machinery and test equipment
