1 Targets

1.1 Provides technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration for client engagement from definition phase through implementation.

1.2 Reviews work of development team.

1.3 Easily recognizes system deficiencies and implements effective solutions.

2 Responsibilities and Tasks

2.1 Creates and executes development plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.

2.2 Keeps project manager well informed of status of development effort and serves as liaison between development staff and project manager.

2.3 Ensures technical teams are contributing to our code library.

2.4 Owns the development lifecycle and is responsible for managing technical risks throughout the project.

2.5 Communicates and enforces coding standards.

2.6 Performs code reviews and mentors junior developers.

2.7 Manages technical resources within budget and project schedule.

2.8 Consistently delivers high-quality services to our clients.

2.9 Holds regular status meetings with development team.

2.10 Keeps development team well informed of changes within the organization and general corporate news.

2.11 Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.

2.12 Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.

2.13 Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.

3 Skills and knowledge

3.1 Fluent in spoken and written English.

3.2 At least 2 years working experience in related industry.

3.3 Challenges others to develop as leaders while serving as a role model.

3.4 Manages the development of team by ensuring that project tasks are in line with each Innovator's career interests when possible.
