We are building our team in China to service clients for both the export and domestic markets of boiler and pressure vessel manufacturing. As the world leader in both nuclear and non-nuclear Code inspections, we provide advisory and inspection services that help our clients succeed. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities of this person will include, but are not limited to:
1. Inspector, Code Services:
Perform duties of Inspector as outlined in the HSBGS Code Service Manual, for ASME Boiler & Pressure inspections
Vessel Code, the NBIC, and the National Board Rules for Commissioned InspectorReports to Regional Manager (SCS)
2. Performs other Inspection services in accordance with qualification and designation by the Company
3. Performs consulting services in accordance with qualification and designation by the Company

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree with major in:
• Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering
• Thermal Power
• Chemical Machinery
• NDE
• Other Engineering
  

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Minimum three years with working experience in

• Boiler, Piping and Pressure
• Or Vessel Designing,
• Or Manufacturing, QA/QC, inspection
  

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Required: Basic familiarity with ASME Code and/or PED
• Desired: AWS CWI, ASNT Level I or II in visual inspection, dye penetrant and radiography.
  

NON-TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Good written and spoken English skills
• Excellent self-initiative, willingness to take responsibility and an open mind Team player
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with customers and colleagues in a broad range of positions
  

OTHER:

• Basic skills with Microsoft Office software and other Windows applications
