Summary:

Ensure manufactured components compliance to technical/quality requirements at both internal and external customers. Communicate and coordinate internally with different departments and externally with end customer QA inspectors/representatives.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Review & comprehend requirements technical drawings, documents, specifications, procedures, inspection test plans etc.
2. Participate in technical/quality/manufacturing related meetings both internally and externally (i.e. design reviews, manufacturing kickoff meetings, lessons learned etc.)
3. Perform quality inspections both in process and at final stage at both internal and external suppliers. Inspection both with and without end customer QA inspector/representative
4. Regular supplier in progress follow visits during manufacturing stages.
5. Review QA documentation, both in process and at final stage, to ensure compliance.
6. Issue inspection and supplier visit reports
7. Act as liaison between Lead OU QA dept., Local OU QA dept. and Customer QA inspector/representative. Facilitate communication.
8. Assist in resolving any manufacturing related technical/quality issued between stakeholders (i.e. NCR, TCR etc.)
9. Participate in supplier QA audits

4. Customer inspector/representative

Education:

Related technical or engineering disciplines such as quality assurance, mech eng, manufacturing eng/production

Special Knowledge:

1. Mandarin + English proficiency. Ability to communicate effectively in verbal/written English.
2. Ability to read and understand technical/engineering drawings
3. Microsoft Office or related.

Prior Experience:

1. 3-5 years related technical experience/knowledge. 1-3 years also considered.
2. Experience specifically in quality assurance and/or manufacturing preferred. Knowledge of Hydro component and/or Large steel manufacturing is advantage as well.
3. International project experience is helpful

Other Requirements:

Willing to travel domestically on average 1.5 days per week (Tianjin, Hangzhou, Deqing, Shenyang, Liyang)PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Work cross-functionally to schedule and plan ROC operational projects. This involves the delivery of schedules, plans, progress controls and regular feedback to the relevant department managers.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES

· Conduct an in depth investigation and analysis of ROC's operational projects (short, medium and long term) and processes in an effort to assist the planning and preparation for implementation.
· Provide an accurate assessment of progress and schedule, comparison against plans and schedules, analyzing the measured results and completion against milestones.
· Provide detailed and accurate monthly progress reports.
· Produce schedule overviews for Department Heads and other internal stakeholders.
· Optimise work plans and schedules to ensure best use of resources, reduce waste and meet company targets.


QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

a) Formal Education/Training

· Bachelor of Engineering
· Offshore survival training certificate

b) Necessary or useful knowledge, skills & experience

· Developed knowledge of the Oil and Gas Industry
· Proficiency in both the Mandarin and English languages
· Proficiency with MS Office Suite and MS Project (or equivalent Project Planning/Management software)
