PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Conduct food safety and quality audit and risk assessments as assigned.
2. Develop cost effective work plans for the completion of assigned audits including administrative responsibilities (reports, assessments, sampling, travel).
3. Provide pre-audit assessment for the customer as requested. After the site evaluation, give the facility reasonable suggestions or site training to help the facility achieve the compliance to related standards.
4. Monitor and report client needs to program office. If necessary, provide a timely response to customer inquiries, complaints and concerns.
5. Participate in external meetings, conferences and tradeshows as requested by business unit management teams and regulatory affairs staff.
6. Communicate with current and potential clients, and NSF personnel regarding identification of additional NSF services that may be beneficial (examples-new products for certification, test only services, quality system registration).
7. Establish and maintain effective communication with Program Representatives and Project Managers.
8. Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. BS or equivalent in Food safety, Agricultural, Pharmaceutical, Environmental Health, Biochemical and related science or business.
2. Knowledge of NSF Standards, GMP, HACCP, FSMS or experience in related technical industry or equality management.
3. A minimum of five (5) years experience in food industry as a food safety role such as field level food safety inspections / audits.
4. Ability to work independently from remote location.
5. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Mandarin.
6. Qualified to obtain a professional registration (Environmental Health, Engineering, or related profession).
7. Willingness and ability to travel extensively.
8. Willingness and ability to relocate.
9. Experience with Microsoft Office software, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
