Job Introduction:
Citi Transaction Services offers integrated treasury and trade solutions and securities and fund services to multinational corporations, financial institutions and the public sector around the world.
COTS is one major system for Citi Transaction Services, and it is a data warehouse for GTS transactions from various product processor e.g. Flexcube, FTI, DDE, Clearing Switch and TRIMS, covers all 17 ASPAC countries. It generates MIS & Customer reports and advices based on user's statement/customer profile setup, and delivers through various delivery channels, such as AES, Email, FAX, SMS, NDM, MQ and FAL Links etc.

Job Responsibilities:
- Hands on coding of COTS development, including new features and maintenance
- Responsible for the delivery and deployment of solutions, to ensure that they on time and meet required standards
- Involve in the module design
- Communicate with Singapore teams for the requirements and technical details
- Responsible for mentoring of junior team members if needed

Technical Skills Required (Must):
- Must be familiar with Core Java
- Must be familiar with Unix/Linux operations
- Must be familiar with Unix/Linux command lines and shell scripts
- Must be familiar with DB and basic SQL commands (prefer Oracle)

Technical Skills Required (Optional)
? Experience in Stored Procedure, PL/SQL
? Experience in Java EE technologies (prefer JEE 5)
? Experience in one of the modern MVC framework (prefer struts 2.x)
? Experience in one of the modern IoC, OR-Mapping frameworks (prefer Spring/Guice, Hiberate 3)

Non-Technical Skills Required
? Should have at least 4 years working experience
? Must have good written and oral communication skills
? Must be comfortable participating in technical discussions and giving technical presentations.
? Be a highly motivated, self-starting individual willing to work in a dynamic work environment.
? Must demonstrate analytical thinking and problem solving skills

Business Skills Required (Optional)
? Have a sound macro view of the working of Global financial markets
? Have a fundamental understanding of the workings of financial institutions, specifically transaction services.
