The Product Marketing Manager provides strategic direction for products in their area of responsibility. They formulate long-range plans, keeping the organization focused on market needs. They manage pricing, promotion and placement of the products throughout their life cycle,. The PMM works with Sales & Marketing and Business Area Sales personnel to initiate and coordinate actions that are intended to grow and maintain a successful business. Job Descriptions: - Ownership (D) of the Market specification and Market/Sales plan with approval given by BA Leader and Regional Sales Leaders (A) - Ownership (D) of the pricing for new Products with approval of BA Sales Leader (A) - Main link between PDLP or PPOP project teams to the BA Sales and Sales & Marketing teams - Assess BA's current product portfolio and work with product line managers to develop product road maps and manage the product life cycle - Compile market needs for new products using tools like QFDs, panel of experts and other voice of the customer methods. - Champion business case development for new products. - Use input from voice of the customer activities, internal product experts to champion the development of market specifications for new product developments including ownership of the market specification, the market & sales plan, and overall portfolio plan including phase out. - Participate in the MTT which prioritizes what products to develop and which to phase out. ? - Responsible for the marketing and sales plan for new product developments including the organization of literature, commercial product training, product promotions, and strategic pricing direction - Responsible for new product price positioning including new product option portfolio pricing. - Initiates product promotion with Market Communications, emphasizing the messages about the benefits of the product and the overall value proposition to be successful in every channel to the market. - Work with the market communications team to prepare web site material, product brochures, advertising, and trade show promotions Requirements: - University degree in engineering or marketing. - Masters Degree in Business Administration preferred - Five or more years experience in BA's industry with detailed knowledge of electric, electronic or hydraulic component systems, and applications. - Expertise of products produced by the BA - Extensive knowledge of the BA target markets and applications with a broad knowledge of the sales process - Good knowledge of key IT tools (MS Office including BIW) - Ability to work in global team environments - Energetic, willing to find compromises between multiple and sometimes conflicting interests - Externally engaging with customers - Service minded, placing the customer at the center of his/her preoccupation - Demonstrated customer oriented thinking - Passion for the BA and the BA's products - Communication and networking capabilities Work location: No.900 Yi Shan road (上海市徐汇区，宜山路900号）
