职位描述

Job Objectives: The Import Coordinator needs to coordinate with operations, forwarders and overseas partners efficiently to ensure that customers' goods can be cleared and delivered as scheduled with customers.

Lines of communication: Report to Operations Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:
a) Internal coordination
1. Advise customers import procedures and confirm with customer documents required for import customs clearance.
3. Arrange delivery per schedule and give instructions to operation including those documents to be signed by customers on the delivery day.
4. Coordinate with supervisor if the any issue happens during delivery.
5. Ensure all the delivery documents from Supervisors received according to our work procedures.

b) Coordination with Forwarders and overseas agent.
1. Receive pre-alert from overseas agent. Confirm best port of entry and consignment details, destination services charges with controlling agent.
2. Confirm shipping schedule with agent and actual arrival date with shipping line.
3. Arrange Customs Clearance with our forwarders and keep control agent posted with the shipment status. If any extra charges, seek approval before proceed.
4. Send delivery report to controlling agent / origin agent after delivery.
c) Other responsibilities
1. Issue invoices to overseas agent and our client.
2. Set up the complete import file and keep records.
3. Reply overseas rate request.
4. Other jobs assigned by line manager.

Job Requirements:
  1. Bachelor Degree or above.
  2. Minimum 2 years of working experience, experience in the same industry is preferred.
  3. Good English speaking, listening, writing skills.
  4. Good internal and external communication skills.
  5. Good at Microsoft word, Excel, outlook
  6. Can work under pressure.
  7. Customer-oriented.
