Title: Beverage Application Technologist

Reporting: Segment Director,Beverage

Travel: 10%

Mission: This job is responsible to demonstrate the application performance of the Firmenich flavors in different beverage applications, and to support the business unit to provide our beverage clients with the best technical services.

Responsibilities:

·Develop beverages formulations based on industrial standards, country specific requirements and client requirment.

·Evaluate the collection flavor and select the right flavor solution in compliance with client profile, legal, cost & stability requirements

·Technical contact for certain key clients and beverage categories

·Prepare and lead client's technical presentations

·Visit clients to present flavor solutions

·Work in a close collaboration with account managers, flavourist, marketing, Sensory and other departments to support the project execution

·Administrate internal systems/tasks related to projects briefs, and keep daily record of laboratory work and results

·Establish new protocols for use of ingredients, flavors or laboratory equipment

·Run stability tests and check flavor solubility according to established protocol

·Respect and develop good laboratory practices following HSE rules

Requirment:

·Bachelor's Degree in Food Science or Flavor Chemistry.

·At least 5 years working experience in beverage or flavor Industry, specialize in the beverage product development or Applciation. International beverage company or flavor house experience preferred.

· Pro-active, autonomous, accurate, well organized, strong service oriented mindset and hands-on skill.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, open-minded and good team player.

· Capable of handling multiple projects in a methodical manner, able to work under pressure and within short deadlines.

· Fluent in English, computer literate (MS Office).

· Willing to travel.
