Position description
We are looking for an experienced CAE Safety Engineer to manage the development of Safety attributes. As a Safety CAE Engineer you will coordinate engineering work related to the CAE Safety area. You are responsible of delivering critical data to the program on time, meeting key technical and commercial targets.
You will be placed in the office and team to one of our customer in Shanghai.
Main Responsibilities
To build up inputs list for safety Occupant CAE simulation.
To perform passive safety CAE (frontal or side) including modeling, assembling, debugging and simulation on system level.
To lead and support safety issue solving and optimization.
To do analytic judgment and report issues to the Attribute leader
To follow up safety CAE project with ESP together.
To support restraints and tune restraints performance, etc.
Research and develop new safety CAE simulation technology
Skills & Requirements
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 4 years of automotive engineering work in safety CAE area at OEM or Tier1 supplier
- Good project leadership skills
- Good English and Chinese written and verbal communication skills
