Project Manager (Voice Technology)
Job Summary
This position is based in Shanghai and focused on voice & multimedia products. The responsibility is overseeing all the voice & multimedia products for all divisions in Shanghai.
Job Responsibilities
To lead and develop product strategy for voice & multimedia area.
To partner with the business and management to identify priorities, understand business requirement and jointly develop project
plans to meet end-users requirement
To perform product research and evaluation driving solution recommendation to the firm
To focus on design, solution engineering and provide escalation support to the infrastructure
To develop engineering design, provide documentation, run-book & best practices for operation team.
To partner with strategic vendors influencing their product roadmap & solution to meet the clients' requirement
To perform project planning, implementation, and testing & commissioning for voice and multimedia systems and projects.
To perform financial analysis, budget & resource planning and contract management to the voice & multimedia products.
To provide escalation support to the operation team on problem & incident management.
To interface with the internal teams for project implementation & migration, participation to key initiatives, and
daily operation & support.
To interface with external service providers and vendors to manage their services, problem identification and resolution activities.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 6 years relevant experience in IT industry.
People management experience is preferable.
Good inter-personal skills
Good communication, writing and presentation skills.
Fluent in English.
Strong technical skill and operational experience in video conferencing system, audio visual control system, audio visual
facilities build out project.
Good understanding to the technology market and product roadmap in Audio Visual & Conferencing industry.
Experience in designing systems for high definition conferencing, telepresence solution, desktop conferencing and telephony
collaboration application.
Experience in designing IP Telephony, voicemail system, voice recording system will be preferable.
Strong project management experience interfacing with internal teams and external vendors to drive projects throughout project
lifecycle.
Strong vendor management experience. Awareness and interaction experience with global vendors would be an advantage.
Knowledge and experience working with interior design, lighting & acoustics vendors will be preferable.
Strong self-motivation, pro-active, analytical and able to work under pressure.
