Customer & Channel Development Manager – Traditional Trade Channel, Southern Region - Guangzhou

JOB PURPOSE
? Report to the CCD Manager - Traditional Trade of National China. Work closely with key business partners and key stakeholders to formulate business strategy, work plan and activities for Traditional Trade market to achieve sales revenue & sales profitability targets and budgetary objectives set for specific geographic area or regions assigned .

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
? Lead sales team and stakeholders of business partners to deliver sustainable superior brand image and sales growth of the company products at the point of purchase across the Traditional Trade market in responsible geographic area. Review regularly on the product assortment and competitive pricing in order to maintain sales momentum and target attainment.
? Translate sales activities and promotion schemes into specific action plans and objectives to improve distribution, market share and evaluate ROI of these key activities to assure effectiveness of the result.
? Monitor performance of key business partners and carry out monthly business review & regular sales meeting to communicate business development status and identify issues in the market to jointly formulate action plans to proactively address any gaps in targets achievement. This includes a monthly review and evaluation of ROI for the distributors / agents as well as giving basic recommendation to these key business partners to improve their ROI.
? Perform detailed analysis of market trends and brand shares, category sales, competitors information and promotion evaluation and volume performance per region, customers and channel assigned. Provide reports and insight to Customer & Channel Development management team, brief them on analysis findings and remedy plan to improve sales attainment whenever required.
? Build relationships with key business partners in the trade and update key wholesalers information in the market. Regularly update on the distribution mapping in responsible area of China, to evaluate and modify proper distribution model which can be sustained.
? Manage day-to-day sales operation of Traditional Trade, guide, coach & monitor Performance of Sales Team to assure a full achievement of the KPI targets assigned and support with corrective action plans to timely address any gaps.
? Communicate regularly with team in Shanghai and marketing team in BKK on marketing plan and execution of activities, provide insight and key learning after each activities. In order to help fine tune or adjust strategy to facilitate achievement of shared Targets and KPI.

QUALIFICATIONS
? Chinese nationality with good command of both written and spoken Chinese & English. Ability to speak a working level of Thai is a plus.
? Bachelor or Master's degree in Business administration or related field.
? Strong negotiating and influencing skills
? Proactive and possess “can do” attitude, entrepreneurial spirit & practical creativity
? Willing to go extra miles, take on challenging tasks & drive own initiatives with a strong determination & commitment to deliver the targets set
? Good analytical skills, able to work well under pressure and having good interpersonal & persuasive communication skills.
? Computer-literate & have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel / Words / PowerPoint.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES REQUIRED
? At least 5 years Sales Manager experience in Traditional Trade Channel of China markets, preferably with track record of success in Food Service Supplies (ie. tableware, glassware or kitchenware) or FMCG / Consumer Products
? Strong business connection with Traditional Trade Channel in China
? Have a good working level of business acumen & financial statement / report / analysis such as ROI etc.
