We are looking for a results driven and customer-focused professional to join our global organisation at an exciting time of growth and innovation. We work with many of the world’s best-known brands to support their management of the full Intellectual Property lifecycle, and that includes delivering customised analytics that leverage technology, market data and patent research.
As a Patent Analyst, you will:
- Communicate effectively with customers to determine the scope of searches. Perform prior art searching using a variety of tools and strategies, analyse findings, and then draft report that clarify results to support patentability, validity, freedom-to-operate and infringement determinations.
- Conduct long-term patent landscape studies to identify trends in a technology field, deliver competitive intelligence, and identify potential research and licensing opportunities.
- Perform Evidence-Of-Use studies by analysing products currently available in the market that may be infringing on a patent of interest.
Experience Required:
Prior patent search experience in the Telecommunications field is required, in particular 3GPP standard research experience. A minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree will also be key to your success in this role.
