职位描述
Major Job Responsibilities
1. Ensure that each plant has the staffing necessary to effectively implement the legal requirements of the country and Corporate EHS programs. Train and mentor plant EHS engineers.
2. Ensure that corporate, regional and plant metrics are properly established and timely reported.
3. Leading China regional internal EHS audit program to help the plants annually self-assess their EHS programs efficiency and compliance.
4. Coordinate corporate compliance audit process which assesses plant performance on legal, Corporate and continuous improvement goals. Provide pre-audit and CAP (Corrective Action Plan) support to the plants.
5. Develop the necessary systems to ensure that plant and regional leadership are engaged in implementation EHS processes. Ensure that plants are implementing the processes necessary to maintain 14001certification.
6. Communicate effectively with other regional and corporate EHS managers by providing project update, annual goals and plant performance information.
7. Ensure that each plant and the region activity budgets adequately for EHS programs and projects and meets budget targets.
8. Develop a centralized process to monitor proposed/new/modified China EHS regulations and to ensure that plants and business activities are in compliance.
Qualifications:
1. At least 6 years of experience in a multi-national manufacturing corporation managing EHS operations (R)
2. Excellent understanding of China legal and Corporate EHS requirements, and their applications in auto industry. (R)
3. BS degree in environmental, chemical, mechanic or related engineering (R).
4. Strong desire to mentor EHS engineers and develop their technical, managerial and leadership skills. (R)
5. Strong team building experience and skills (R)
6. Good understand of ISO14001 and OSHA18001 requirements (R)
7. Excellent oral and written skills in English and Mandarin (R)
8. Be able to establish and use measurement systems to determine performance on EHS programs. (R)
9. Be able to negotiate, communicate, and resolve EHS issues with both internal and external constituencies. (R)
10. Has good computer skill (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, outlook, etc.) (R)
11. Able to work effectively with local regulators and peer groups (R)
12. Demonstrated ability to manage projects and changes. (R)
