Responsibilities:
The obligation to carry out assigned tasks within an area of Responsibilities

The Supplier QAE is responsible for:
. The quality assurance activities are being performed in accordance with the company objectives, strategies and regulations.
. Ensure that latest Directives and Codes (ASME/GB/EN etc) are updated and followed
. Ensure that suppliers are aware of Metso's requirements of SQS and project specific information
. Following our management system ONE POWER.
. Participation to Development of QA/QC processes in Power.

Employee's HSE responsibilities:
- Advice and train the organization in Metso's HSE policy
- When working:
? working in a safe manner without risk to himself or herself, others or the environment
? follow HSE policy and related instructions
? report all incidents, near miss cases or HSE risks as instructed
? correctly use all required personal protective equipment (PPE)
? make suggestions on how to improve HSE practices

Authorities:
The right to make decisions within the area of Responsibilities
Define and execute actions that are required for QA
Supplier's NCR approval (small - major cases....)

Tasks:
Pre-audits and participation in supplier audits in China.
Participation in commercial negotiations with suppliers in China.
Risk assessments for CCC purchases as defined.
Ensure that Metso China organization and supervisors understand Metso quality requirements.
Kick-off meetings with suppliers as defined.
Ensure that suppliers understand Metso quality requirements and project specific quality issues.
Review of suppliers ITP locally
NCR handling in China
In Projects reporting to project QAE
Necessary contacts to authorities
Participation to Project Feedback meeting
Feedback from Chinese suppliers to Power's feedback tools (Improve, DMS)
Expertise in Chinese legislative quality requirements

Competencies:
Bachelor Degree (or higher) from technical university
Specialty: quality, welding or mechanics, boiler engineering, pressure vessels etc.
Good communication and English skills
Good knowledge of boiler plant supply packages and supplier network
Good computer skills
Technical background
Good knowledge of quality systems and quality management
Audit competence
Good knowledge about Q requirements (GB, ASME, EN-PED)
Minimum five years work experience.
Two years experience at the field described in tasks.
