Sales Operations seeks to drive revenue and retention through operational excellence in people, processes and tools. The Sales Operations Analyst is an individual contributor working as part of a team which helps support the PTC Sales Organization through data collection, analysis, reporting and interpretation as well as helping to analyze and drive improvements to the core data quality and business processes from which this data is sourced.
Principal Responsibilities
Business Systems Analysis
Work with cross functional teams to support the implementation and integration of Reporting and Data solutions within the scope of prioritized activities.
Critically evaluate business requirements to identify gaps, interdependencies and reconcile conflicts
Dissect high level problem statements into details for relevant audiences
Collaborate with Project Managers, Sponsors and Key Constituents on tasks related to planning, scheduling and activity coordination
Prepare and present artifacts in support of projects and activities for consumption by various audiences (For example: Requirement Documents, Test scripts, Process flows/diagrams)
Delivery
Prepare and deliver both formal and ad-hoc reports that characterize business performance, to a wide variety of business levels
Report creation and maintenance related to Sales forecasting and performance
Data mining and analysis to assist with Sales account segmentation
Customer account research, analysis and classification
Data Quality analysis, validation and improvement
Contribute to enhancement of reporting applications and associated testing
o Provide end user support, log issues and prioritize and manage defects
Develop and execute upon application and process training collateral; Sustain training activities in order to promote adoption applications.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Technically literate in MS Office applications, Outlook, Excel Word, etc
Some knowledge of SQL and/or associated reporting tools is desirable
Experience with the Salesforce.com and/or Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) preferred, but not required.
A basic understanding of Dun & Bradstreet data would be helpful

Able to quickly learn and adapt to new process and technologies in order to meet business needs and drive business value; Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning

Highly organized with ability to manage diverse functions, requests and deliverables with composure and within deadlines
o Understand Business Analytics and the metrics/information that drive management decisions
o Advanced English language skills required; ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
