Position Description

This Team provides the core software at the heart of MorganStanley's global trade plant. We build and deliver components, standalone applications as well as development tooling to execute on the firm's strategy with a focus on reliability and performance. OMFarm, as part of ETI, is responsible for managing OMs (Order Manager) across equity business units. OMFarm is a central place where manage order status for various trading application, fulfill regulatory rules and limits, and book/report trades for downstream processing.

We are looking for candidates who can work on a) test tool and test case development using Python; and b) OMFarm integration.

Skills Required

- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

- Detail oriented and disciplined

- Strong Python skill

- 3+ years hands-on UNIX/LINUX experience

- Familiar with shell script and Perl

- Knowledge of network, database, and operating system

Skills Desired

- Intermediate C++ knowledge

- QA experience

- Basic understanding of equity trading

- Experience with web service technologies (ASP.NET, SOAP, HTML, JAVASCRIPT, FLEX)
