职位描述
1.Role synopsis
- Quality Assurance is at the core of Technology accountability across the Globe, and this role is responsible for supporting the QA/PI manager to develop the strategies, plans and embedding Quality process into China region. This role has the added complexity of driving quality across a region that encompasses multiple sites. This role conducts analysis, utilize quality tools, conduct incident analysis, problem solving, establish QC testing requirements, and requires high level of technical capability.
- This role is key to support a regional Quality agenda, sits in QA team driving strategies for quality and product assurance improvement at a regional level for both IME and Automotive lubricants and across all functions.
2.Key accountabilities
- This role sits on the China quality team, and is responsible for supporting the Regional QA manager to drive the OU Quality Assurance and compliance agenda through engagement with key regional stakeholders, in particular the OU Supply Chain organisation and the regional OMS Manager. This role is also responsible for providing QA support and QA communication for the region, and supporting the roll out and on-going maintenance of the quality continuous improvements in China.
- This role will focus on the following activities in particular:
* Support the QA manager to develop strategies, policies and procedures to embed Quality Assurance in the global and regional organisation. There is the opportunity through this network to highlight and promote the implementation of best practice for simplicity, efficiency and more effective ways of working.
* Responsible for core process deployment, this includes working with the Regional Supply Chain organisation to engage them on new policies being developed, input their feedback and then work regionally and at a plant level to implement the policies and procedures in terms of process training, execution plan follow-up, the role will also be engaged in implementing blend plant auditing policies and processes, including third parties in the region..
* Responsible for quality performance analysis and monitoring e.g. reporting, recommending and driving Quality assurance and continuous improvements.
* Responsible for networking of Quality Control technicians within the China OU, e.g. engaging technicians within core function to lift the level of quality competence
- This role requires applicants to have a strong problem solving skills, good listening skill, and good commitment to BP values
- The candidate will need to have knowledge in the industry we work in and the enthusiasm to work in a network in continuous improvements
3.Essential Education
Science or engineering based degree or equivalent
4.Essential experience and job requirements
- Strong problem solving skills
- 5 year+ experience and should have knowledge of quality tools.
