General Summary
Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the office. Also responsible for the day-to-day execution of the work within the assigned geographic area.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (PDR)
1. Direct the day-to-day general office, duties and administrative activity.
2. Prepare quotations for clients (included ABS offices)
3. Coordinate scheduling and staffing of projects. Check reports for sub-contractors to issue to clients and ensure inspection reports are received in time and forwarded to all concerned.
4. Follow up with staff and clients to ensure that the work was completed on schedule and to the clients satisfaction.
4. Resolve work related client issues including scope of work, quality of work and billing.
6. Prepare monthly cash flow and monthly revenue margin.
8. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required (KSAR)
1. Bachelor of Science degree or recognized equivalent from accredited university or equivalent experience.
2. Complete knowledge of inspection services offered.
3. Proven organizational skills in planning and scheduling work.
4. Basic understanding of administration including client billing, maintaining accurate time sheets, and office procedures.
5. Solid understanding of current business climate and how it is expected to affect both current and future work loads.
6. Needs to be familiar with the ABS Consulting Quality and Environmental Management System.

Working Conditions
Work may be performed in variety of environments including industrial plants and office location. Assistance may be provided by a member of the clerical support staff. Will be required to travel occasionally. Occasionally may have to lift between 5-15 pounds.
Reporting Relationships
Reports directly to the Head of Operations, the Country Manager or designated individual.

ABS Consulting - Shanghai, (legally registered as Shanghai ABS Technical Inspection Co. Ltd. in Shanghai, China, a Joint Venture between ABSG Consulting Inc. and Shanghai Inspection Company), is one of the branches of ABS Consulting (ABSG Consulting, Inc., a legal entity in New York, and the operation in Houston, the State of Texas), an affiliate of the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS). The entire ABS Consulting - Shanghai has around 100 experienced technical personnel, all of whom are with engineering/ technical degrees, and/or trade association certifications such as ASME Authorized Inspectors, AWS Certified Welding Inspectors, PED Authorized Inspector and etc. Many of the field representatives are multi-lingual, and regularly inspect to recognized national and international standards.
