POSITION SUMMARY
HUSCO (International)(Automotive) provides individuals the opportunity to pursue a career within a fast-paced, industry leading and entrepreneurial organization. The EHS Engineer is responsible for ensure a permanent operational control of industrial risks in company and counsel to HR manager on EHS issues. Maintain EHS operation control (environmental protection, health, safety, fire prevention). Follow up and control corrective and improvement actions to meet its EHS objectives of company.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
? Environmental, Health and Safety Management. Implement EHS system, maintain and update internal EHS policy and procedure. Ensure company complies with all government EHS regulations according to Chinese laws. Safety management, identify and evaluate any risks. Promote the “Zero Accident” philosophy. Keep good relation with local government, such as Fire Bureau, Hydeian Bureau, Environment Audit Department, etc. In close cooperation with Contractor, Client Project Management during construction phase in order to maintain the demanded level of: site safety, health and environment protection.
? Personal Protective Equipment Management. Recommend PPE Mgt and working process or conditions, to ensure the safety and health of the worker, the public, and/or the environment. Handle injury incident, conduct incident investigation, complete accident report, and implement preventative & corrective actions accordingly. Ensure first aid resource and process.
? Daily Safety Inspection Check. Organize and perform safety inspection regularly.
? Report Analysis. Complete and maintain reports i.e. Health, Safety, Accident, Environment, both periodically and occasionally, which is required by law or International Standards. Update and maintain key statistics, such as accident, illness, usage of first aid facilities etc., including updating of safety board.
? Safety Training. Organize and execute training for staffs to understand and follow EHS concept.
? Maintain Environment System. Maintain ISO14001 management system to comply with the ISO14001, China legal, regulations and other relevant standards/requirements. Conduct ISO14001 internal and external audits to ensure the management system is implemented effectively.
? Continuous Improvement. Maintain departmental focus on metric and organizational objectives and drives continuous improvement for measurable improvement in safety metrics.
? Strong Team Player and Contributor. Able to work well with colleagues and produce results within a fast-paced and high pressure atmosphere. Combines strong attention to detail with an orientation towards results/execution.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
? Associates degree on safety & health, environment or relevant engineering major.
? Minimum of 3 years experience working in EHS in industrial companies. Mechanical industrial experience will be priority.
? Well understanding of Chinese laws and regulations related to Environment, Health and Safety; be familiar with ISO 14000 with internal auditor certificate.
? Experience with electrical safety, ergonomics, basic behavior safety management will be preferred.
? Have good communication skill and analytic capability, can work under pressure.
