We’re looking for someone who truly understands, and has a passion for, delivering creative and innovative digital designs. Whether it be traditional web, email, social media, or mobile, you should know how to create highly engaging, intuitive, visually stimulating creative concepts that break through the clutter and get results. You'll join our young creative team to focus on designing digital and social media-based campaigns for a diverse group of local and global brands.
You have a passion, and the skills, for creating high-converting campaigns for traditional digital, mobile and social media. You live, breathe, and sleep creative that demands consumer response, and are obsessed with finding new, innovative ways to design and create deeper levels of engagement with the target audience. You are meticulous in ensuring the quality of your work.
Our ideal candidate is a strategic creative thinker who is also very hands-on and able to own the project from concept through completion. We’re looking for a strategic thinker who is able to articulate to clients why and how the designs presented pay off the project’s objectives and goals. You must be a problem solver and dedicated to the success of your assignments.
Objective / Purpose
? The Digital Art Director will lead creative development for all client accounts and new business opportunities.
? While the primary requirements of the role are to provide digital expertise, you will also be expected to understand how non-digital assets could be used to meet the projects objectives.
? The Digital Art Director needs to drive high quality of work from the creative team, through coaching and mentoring, and retention of team members with good potential. Support a positive and constructive work environment that fosters strong teamwork and idea generation.
Key Deliverables
? Key driver of the creation process; brainstorming with Account Service, and encourage out-of-box thinking.
Creative Leadership:
? Present initial creative concepts to Account Service team, and when required present to the client.
? Support the development of all digital and print assets for all communication needs.
? Manage creative resources within the creative team including in-house designers, contractors, freelancers, agencies, printers. Drive the selection and screening process of outside vendors.
? Oversee project management of all creative projects. Will lead many of these projects.
Projects:
? Ensure creative work deadlines are met by working in close collaboration with internal teams and vendors.
? Collaborate with Account Service team to optimize spend.
? Rationalize creative activities:
- Identify best practices
- Improve overall quality
- Optimize deployment of resources
? Promote relevant trends and best practices in visual design.
Leadership & Team Development:
? Team management and supervision for the delivery and competency of your team.
? Maintain a positive and constructive environment that fosters teamwork and creativity.
? Conduct team appraisals and reviews, and agree objectives for all team members.
? Understand the team’s talents and aspirations and implement a structure to optimize these.
? Educate the team - enable team members to develop the skills and experiences required to deliver high quality work and recommendations that differentiate ICLP deliveries to client. Identify training requirements, either internal (on the job) or external, and implement as and when appropriate.
? Manage expectations of the agency, client and your team.
? Take an active ‘senior leadership’ role across the company with general interest of the company in mind.
Business Development:
? Support the development of business proposals specifically for creative solutions for these opportunities.
? Deliver creative concept and cost proposal knowledgably, showing an in depth understanding of client business requirements and marketing objectives.
? Understand creative strategic direction for the client and support the conversion of new opportunities.
How will success be measured?
? Demonstrated creative thinking and an excellent grasp of “good” design, while balancing the client marketing objective and strategic needs.
? Ensure high quality work from creative team that is “good” design and meticulous in execution.
? Effective interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
? Effective supervisory skill, motivating and effectively managing team members for higher delivery.
? Ability to act maturely and proactively in situations both internally and externally in the best interests of ICLP.
? Collaborative working relationship with all internal departments and ensuring team members do so as well.

? Demonstrate time management and organization skills to prioritize deliverables.
? An expert knowledge of digital design tools.
