JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for investigating, analysing and correcting problems regarding quality, production and control at supplier by planning and executing audits, following up corrective actions and nonconformities. The Supplier Quality Supervisor should be able to manage a team of Supplier Quality Engineers in order to plan, execute and direct activities to support and continually develop suppliers.


RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
1 Manage a team or Supplier Quality Engineers to plan and direct activities related to supplier quality (production, process, system)
2 Be involved in specific customer project requiring strong planning and execution abilities
3 Contact with project managers for development projects to analyse and solve component problems with suppliers
4 Plan and execute supplier audit program as a step in sourcing of new suppliers as well as recurring audits for current suppliers including auditing quality management system, process audit and general product quality
5 Receive quality problem information from Quality control and inform suppliers to improve quality of products
6 Follow up along with his team on corrective and preventive supplier actions to assure elimination of quality issues
7 Work directly as the interface between Crem and suppliers to improve quality. Will require frequent travelling to supplier locations
8 Be well involved in supplier processes and product change management to secure and collect data to secure product quality
9 Be able to plan and execute training for supplier quality personnel
10 Report and follow up quality issues in web quality management system


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
1 Minimum 4 year bachelor in engineering field or above
2 Master degree in engineering field is a plus
3 Familiar with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 as Internal auditor
4 Minimum 3 years work experience in supplier quality field
5 Must have experience in reading and interpreting drawings and schematics
6 Demonstrated managerial skills, decision maker and problem solving abilities
7 Demonstrated ability to work with continual improvements
8 Demonstrated ability to work independently and continually develop work methods for Quality control activities
9 Requires good communication and coordination skills with cross functional teams
10 Fluent in English written and spoken and good knowledge of Chinese
11 Should feel comfortable working in a foreign company with English as main language

OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES:
1 Good knowledge in Microsoft Office suite
2 Good sense of design of documents
3 3D CAD software experience a plus
