Responsibilites:

- Support the Light Gate / Prism / Glass Processing line production of high quality products at optimal costs

- Develop and / or maintain manufacturing method systems and processes

- Determine operations requirements and improve production process

- Evaluate process repeatability and process validation

- Assist with cost analysis , address product related issues

- Recommend process layout changes

- Institute designed experiments to correct & find problems

- Responsible for determining Cpk of process

- Train & certify as trainers to the technician in the processes

- Qualify supplier for all backend products raw material and key articles consumption, ensure quality with suppliers

- Defining income inspection & final inspection procedure for polished glass parts(mechanical dimensiion , surface quality, surface flatness , environmental testing)

- Qualify supplier for polished glass components, ensure quality with suppliers


Qualifications:

- Bachelor degree or above , major in Physics/Optics/Metrology/Material Science or related

- 1 year above professional experience in glass processing (Polishing and assembly of optical glass components)

- Experience in measuring methods of optical components with regards to quality control

- High level of written and spoken English for Work Instructions , Standard Operating Procedure and Quality Plans development

- Ability to interface with internal and external customers

- Ability to interface and train production personnel

- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems in responsible production line
