Production Merchandiser – kids / mens sleepwear & underwear / socks & hosiery

Job Responsibilities:

· Ensure all production and order related information (forecasts, orders etc.) for the entire category is on hand and up to date

· Resolve production issues in conjunction with each Suppliers, Logistics and Product Development team

· Close monitoring on production schedule to ensure timely delivery

· Work closely with Quality team to ensure the production quality is up to standard

· In partnership with Strategic Sourcing team to ensure any greige, trims and packaging pools are maintained accurately and in a timely manner

· Identify and eliminate any excessive packaging components during the production process

· Ensure logistical flows between raw material suppliers & suppliers are via the agreed production planning process

· Handle multiple suppliers and maintain good relationship

· Observe and propose manufacturing best practises via pooling knowledge gained from different manufacturers

Job Requirements:

· Diploma or above in relevant disciplines

· Minimum 5 years’ of relevant experience in Sourcing office dealing with Buyers or from a manufacturing environment in handling womenswear

· A good team player with outgoing and positive personality

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills

· Proficiency in both spoken & written English

· Well-versed in using Microsoft applications including Excel and Word Processing

· Occasional travel within China is required & other offshore production countries
