The application engineer works under the supervision of China applications center manager and work closely with headquarter applications to coordinate application support issues and allocate resources; Help marketing to propose new product ideas, and assist with detailed product definition; Generate data sheets and applications notes including translating existing applications literature into Chinese, design general-purpose and customized demonstration boards, review customer design and provide design services, evaluate new products, assist FAEs with local failure analysis support, and provide the highest level of local technical service to customers. Prepare technical training material and conduct technical trainings for FAE, sales, and channel partners in China.

Requirements:

• BSEE or higher, concentration in Power Electronics is preferred.
• 2+ years hands-on experience in power semiconductor application or power supply design, such as ACDC, DCDC, etc. Know power devices and power supply topologies and theory. Know some structures of different application.
• Highly motivated 'with can-do' attitude, team work, ownership and able to work with minimum supervision
• Good communications and interpersonal skills
• Able to discuss common technical issues in English both verbally and in writing
