Product Development Designer - Plush

Working location: Shanghai Ref.: PDD-0515

The job holder works closely with U.S. procurement and product development team, the Asia Creative, Merchandising and Project Engineering Teams alongi wth Suppliers; on receipt of concept / artworks, fabric selections, interpret concepts to prototype and bidding. Develop and maintain strong relation both internally and externally as well as demonstrate initiative and the ability to handle a greater quantity of work at a very high quality level.

Job requirements:

. Design education; solid experience in premium plush, knowledge in both materials/fabrics and design

. Strong sense in color and aesthetic judgement

. Proven ability to art direct and demonstrates strong decision-making skills

. Understanding of manufacturing processes for a variety of materials and product formats on plush, with a sensitivity and awareness of costs

. Broad understanding of design trends in plush

. Strong commnuication skills, English and Mandarin, written and spoken

. Detail oriented, mature, proactive and sense of responsibility

. Flexible, willing to travel, capacity to learn, etc.

. Proven project and time management skills, with the willingness to take on multimple projects simultaneously, withil sucessfully delivering increased quantity and quality in a timely manner

. Solid skills with multiple software applications
