Main Accountabilities:

1. Conduct and manage evaluation for raw materials into formulations within the established parameters, time frame.

2. Work closely with Technology Development Manager to evaluate fully raw materials into specified formulations and full testing to ensure suitability into end-use.

3. Coordinate with the Purchasing department in material evaluation and supplier assessment to seek for alternatives for continuous supply and raw material cost reduction.

4. Prepare and maintain systematic documentation for test results.

5. Maintain all Technical Data Sheets, Material Safety Datasheets and Specification of received samples

6. Raw material consistency for subsequent batches of the newly qualified raw materials, to be within established specification.

7. Conduct pre-screening of all samples received, and proceed to detail testings on selected samples.

8. Responsible for formulation security, and maintain accurate records and reports of evaluations/results and provide routine reporting.

9. Record and maintain all Technical Data Sheets, Material Safety Datasheets and Specification of received samples. Registration of global codes once product is approved.

10. Ensuring testing equipment are in good operating conditions, and professional standard in laboratory practices are followed.

11. Meeting and coordinating with raw material suppliers as when required.

12. Upon qualification, to establish specification for standard. Ensure subsequent batches complies to specification before passing.

Qualifications:

- University Degree in Science subjects- preferably in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Printing related Technology.

- Good analytical skill. Good written and communication in English.

- Experience in inks fomulation development.
