Objective of Job:
Support to the Group and APAC tax organizations; act as the key liaison between tax and accounting with a focus on tax compliance and tax process improvement.

Brief Task Description
Tax accounting
? Coordinate and manage appropriate tax accounting for all China entities;
? Share timely tax accounting impact with Corporate Tax Department and local management.

Tax compliance
? Manage the tax positions and tax models for all China entities;
? Coordinate and manage tax compliance for all China entities;
? Coordinate and manage VAT/BT compliance for all China entities;
? Manage timely filing of tax compliance with China tax authorities;
? Coordinate and manage completion of the local transfer pricing documentation.

Representing the company in China tax matters
? To represent, in close cooperation with the Senior Manager APAC Tax, the China legal entities as a liaising officer with external consultants and tax authorities to develop and share know-how.

Supporting China operations on tax planning structures
? Support the local Finance Director and Corporate Tax Department in collating and reviewing internal and external information requests necessary to support the tax strategy of the company in China;
? Stay updated on China taxes developments and shares these with Senior Manager APAC Tax;
? Evaluate tax strategies to ensure the impact on after EBIT profit.



Qualifications:
? Academic degree in accounting, tax law or tax economics;
? Experienced in (international) business environment with at least 5 years’ working experience
? Well-developed China tax technical and practical knowledge;
? Strong accounting and tax accounting skills;
? Good business acumen and commercial knowledge;
? Experience in dealing with local tax authorities at various levels;
? Knowledge of transfer pricing principals and transfer pricing environment/regulations in China;
? Knowledge and understanding of the business complexities.
? Strong technical and advisory skills;
? Strong numerical analytical skills;
? Hands-on, independent, able to multi-task and prioritize;
? Able to work independently and to deal with all levels of management and external stakeholders;
? Strong in building and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders;
? Motivated and able translate tax planning to tax accounting and tax compliance;
? Strong project management skills;
? Able to identify local tax opportunities and risks;
? Fluent in both Chinese and English.
