Senior Firmware Development Engineer

Micron Technology’s Advanced Controller Group is focused on developing leading-edge memory controller and System-on-Chip (SoC) designs, incorporating advanced HW and FW to enable Micron’s SSD and mobile storage (eMMC, UFS) product roadmap. We are rapidly growing our team to take advantage of the expanding market opportunities and Micron’s outstanding memory technology. Job Description:

· Design and implement firmware for Micron’s mobile storage product.

· Work among international teams in Micron to deliver mobile storage firmware projects on time with high quality.

Requirements:

· BS/MS in Electronics Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent.

· Proven solid design and implementation experience on large software or firmware in C/C++ with more than 5 years is required.

· Understanding of mobile storage or data storage file system is required.

· Understanding of storage interfaces including eMMC, UFS, SATA, and SAS is a big plus.

· Understanding of NAND device operation would be a big plus.

· Experience with tools like Logic Analyzer, Oscilloscope, in circuit emulators is required.

· Good English communication skill (both written and verbal) is required.

· Willingness to learn new technology and self-motivated.

· Ability to handle multiple tasks and self-managed.

· Willing to travel aboard up to months.
