EMC Enterprise Content Division seeks a high performance engineer to make things work.
Information is at the heart of business and it is growing not only in volume, but in complexity as well, as new media types emerge and mobile and social applications evolve. In addition, the IT infrastructure to support information management is changing just as rapidly.
ECD, Enterprise Content Division of EMC, is a market leader in Enterprise Content Management platforms. ECD provides intelligent capture, content management, case management, customer communications and governance software and services that solve even the most complex information challenges organizations face today from information compliance and governance to streamlining mission critical business processes, to the emerging world of big data, on premise or private/public cloud.
What do we need from you?
Job Responsibilities:

? Create the next generation of testing frameworks, tools, release techniques, and infrastructure to increase the speed of release cycles and allow for constant high quality product and feature delivery.
? Work and collaborate with members across EMC’s global sites to improve test automation framework deployment.
? Design and implement applications and tools to improve efficiency, automation and productivity of the organization.
? Provides technical expertise in developing solutions to complex software engineering problems, which require frequent use of ingenuity and creativity.
? Interacts with various functional teams on matters that require coordination across functional/organizational lines.
Qualifications and Factors for Success:

? 3+ years of development experience in Software Development or Quality Assurance organizations.
? Strong and extensive programming knowledge in Java.
? Good B/S system design and development experience.
? Extensive knowledge of UNIX/Linux and/or Windows.
? Demonstrated ability to deliver work under pressure and tight schedules.
? Good communication skills and attention to detail.
? Ability to work effectively and collaboratively cross-functionally with groups such as Development, QA, Product Management and Program Management to drive results.
? Self-starter with demonstrated ability to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
? Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Your documents reach customers all over the globe.
? Demonstrated decision-making skill and ability to deliver work under pressure.
? Ability to multi-task, self-initiated, sense of ownership and accountability.
? Demonstrates an attitude of joint accountability for all aspects of projects, whether or not directly assigned responsibilities of a project
? Demonstrates respect, responsiveness and professionalism toward others while providing superior service for internal teams and customers.


Considered Big Plus:

? Experience with AngularJS, Bootstrap and complex front-end application development framework.
? Experience in building test automation frameworks and tools within a large scale enterprise environment via REST, web, mobile or GUI.
? Working database experience (E.g. MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
? Familiar with one or more of following automation framework: JBehave, RSpec, Robot Framework, Test NG etc.
? Experience with other development & scripting languages besides Java (E.g. .NET, Python, Ruby).
? Experience with software development in Cloud/PaaS/SaaS
? Experience with Agile, CI/build methodologies and SCM tools (Maven, Gradle, TeamCity, Jenkins, Perforce and JIRA)



Education Requirement:

? Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent (Master is a plus)
