EMC IIG seeks a Senior Software QA Engineer to make things work.
What does BU team name do? The introduction of BU and team.
Information is at the heart of business and it is growing not only in volume, but in complexity as new media types emerge and mobile and social applications evolve. In addition, the IT infrastructure to support information management is changing just as rapidly. EMCs Information Intelligence Group (IIG) provides intelligent capture, content management, case management, customer communications and governance software and services that solve even the most complex information challenges organizations face today from information compliance and governance to streamlining mission critical business processes, to the emerging world of big data, on premise or in the cloud.

IIG Documentum xPlore is a multi-instance, scalable, high-performance, full-text index server that can be configured for high availability and disaster recovery. xPlore can index huge data set covering hundreds of file formats and execute query flexibly in xQuery. Shanghai QE team takes care of whole testing activities including function testing, regression testing, to integration testing and recovery testing. The team has made the process highly automated and handled complicated user scenarios.

What do we need from you?
? Plan and execute white box and gray testing using defined methodologies
? Write test plans and test cases based on requirements and technical specifications
? Fully competent in the design, implementation, and maintenance of a test environment, including necessary equipment, configuration, and software.
? Provide solutions for a wide range of complex problems. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions, under only limited directions.
? Build and design testing tools and framework to the team
? Analyze product defects to ensure the level of quality is increased over time
? Closely corporate with DEV and other function groups to ensure timely and high quality releases
Qualifications and factors for success:
? 2+ years software testing experience including functional test, sanity test, acceptance test
? Strong Java programming and troubleshooting technical skills.
? Strong knowledge of Linux OS and Windows OS.
? Solid experience in build tools, such as Ant (Maven, Gradle is a plus)
? Experienced in CI system, such as Jenkins and TeamCity.
? Strong written and verbal communication skills
? Working experience in automation testing is a plus.
? Knowledge in full-text search domain is a plus.
