Critical Job Elements
? Understand system requirements.
? Define software architecture.
? Contribute to project estimation and planning.
? Write software documentations (feasibility study report, design documentation, test specification, test report).
? Contribute to software engineering process improvement.
? Assist colleagues with training or skill development, mentor junior engineers.
? Focus on platform software development, integration and releasing.
? Cooperate with hardware engineer and test engineer.
? Report work result clearly to software manager and project manager.




Qualifications
? BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent or equivalent work experience is required.
? A minimum of 4 years experience in embedded software development, firmware or test is required.
? Skilled in C and ASM programming
? Strong in BIOS, EFI, Firmware, IPMI development
? Extensive knowledge of X86 hardware architecture is required.
? Familiar with software configuration management like Clear Case
? Familiar with RTOS principle is a big plus
? Deep understanding of software engineering process and software quality control is required.
? Strong English written and verbal communications skills are required.
? Self-motivate, accountable, innovative.
