EMC BU Name seeks a well performed engineer to make things work.

Data Domain is the Market Leader in De-duplication disk storage solutions. As a Platform Software engineer, this candidate will work on complex technical problems and provide innovative solutions. Ideal candidate will enjoy a fast paced, technically challenging environment working as an expert on the core subsystems of leading edge de-duplication Storage solutions provided by Data Domain.

What do we need from you?
? Work with senior engineers in the team to design/implement complex software features for DataDomain products.
? Interact with global cross-functional teams at making and qualifying the platform software requirement.
? Participate in full development cycle, from design to qualification and customer support.
? Quick learner, self-starter, flexible, adaptable, be proactive and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment;
? Team player and open-minded, willing to learn, share and help.

Qualifications and factors for success:

? Good communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
? Willing to innovate and implement new stuff.
? Willing to work with remote teams.
? Familiar with Linux user space programming.
? Good at C/C++.
? Good at scripts like Bash. Knowledge with Perl is a plus.
? Knowledge of Intel X86 architecture is a plus.
? Knowledge of PCIe is a plus.
? Knowledge of Linux kernel is a plus.
? Knowledge of design pattern is a plus.
? Experiences of dealing with low level system/platform details are highly preferred
? Strong knowledge and experience with build, test automation and test infrastructure development will be a big plus
? MS in CS related areas
