Job Responsibilities:
? Works closely with Beverage I&D and Creat-ing teams to find innovative, patentable and cost-effective solutions to solve identified technical problems across Beverage categories with a strong focus around citrus related challenges;
? Manages the corresponding mid-term development projects from research to industrialization by leading cross-functional teams;
? Works closely with Technical marketing (i5 platforms, Natamo, GC&PM, Tonality Excellence) to ensure that the appropriate package is prepared for the launch of the product or concept;
? Writes technical documents to demonstrate the benefits of new developments;
? Trains internal Firmenich and external customers' on new developments in Beverages with a strong focus around citrus;
? Develop key client relationships and understanding of needs by meeting and organizing visits with key customers as well as KGA leaders.
? Works with the innovation community (including the three global Research Centers) to identify technologies that can be adapted and applied to create beverage opportunities; i.e., Techno-push).

Profile:
? Food scientist or chemist with solid beverage application background
? Experience in new product development in the beverage industry; especially citrus
? Fluent in English (oral and written)
? Good understanding of beverage flavor technologies, citrus knowledge a plus.
? Curious, open-minded with excellent communication skills
? Strong project management skills and leadership of cross-functional teams
? Able to manage within a international matrix organization
? Good organizational skills and priority oriented
? Proven ability to facilitate change
? Humanity and emotional intelligence
? Good presentation skills with ability to communicate findings to non-technical people
? Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Wave, Clarity, etc.
? Availability for frequent conference calls with other zones (North America, Europe) a requirement.
