Role Summary/Purpose

Provide technical supports to GE Aviation shops and suppliers in CAM and digital solutions.

Essential Responsibilities

The Lead Engineer / Technologist demonstrates leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment. In this role you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.
· Develop CAM solutions for Aviation shops to standardize manufacturing process and improve production productivity.
· Work with global team on machining simulation and post processor to reduce NPI cycle time.
· Work with global team to develop NC programing toolkits and advanced machining technology to improve machining efficiency and reduce manufacturing cost.
· Execute project tasks and provide timely communications on project issues or developments
· Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews

Qualifications/Requirements

· MS or Ph.D. in mechanical engineering or equivalent engineering.
· 5+ years manufacturing experiences in industry.
· 3+ years experiences in CAD/CAM software, especially in UG.
· Experience in machining simulation and post processor.
· Experience in NX/TeamCenter is a plus.
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
· Fluent in Mandarin and English.
· Highly motivated to direct work effort and drive closure.
· Team player with good customer communication skills.
· Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a broad range of Engineering disciplines.
