【 RESPONSIBILITIES】

1.
Identify the
CAE need from diverse product lines (heat exchanger, intercooler, fan shroud,
EGR, etc).

2.
Create finite
element models consistent with CAD geometry models according to VALEO
methodologies.

3.
Analyze part
/ product design, using CAE software, to meshing, apply load, calculate model,
etc.

4.
Generate
technical reports and present to internal and external customers.

5.
Develop
product design proposals to meet customer specifications and test requirements.

6.
Support
Product Development Cycle and APQP (DFMEA, etc.).

7.
Develop the
CAE methodologies for diverse products and develop the CAE capability.

8.
Other duties as
assigned.

【 REQUIREMENTS】

1.
Bachelor’s
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; advanced Degree will be a
plus.

2.
Preferred to have product knowledge of thermal system,
especially of heat exchangers (radiators, condensers, intercoolers, etc).

3.
Preferred to have working experience in an automotive
company.

4.
Min 3 years
of Finite Element Analysis experience is required; prior experience with
coolant pressure cycle, vibration, structural, fatigue for heat exchangers.

5.
Familiar with
3D CAD software; with CATIA V5 will be a plus.

6.
Familiar with
at least one of the CAE software of Abaqus, MSC and Ansys.

7.
Good spoken
and written communication skills in English.

8.
Familiar with
MS-Office.

Today 3 R&D teams work in this platforms, which are Valeo Electric Engine System China Technical Center (VEES CTC), Valeo Engine Cooling China Technical Center(VEC CTC) and Valeo Wipper System Asia Technical Center(VWS ATC).

The Technical Center is aimed to develop technical competences for Asian businesses and to satisfy our customer requirements in a fast changing environment. Developed initially as a subcontracted design platform, the Technical Center has been evolving to a complete product and project development center as following :
- Complexity increase and new needs definition such as environment and security
- OEM support for Chinese customers and for oversea businesses
- Sustainable development
- Support specific cars for emerging market in BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India and China)
