Responsibilities:

1. Direct report to department manager and responsible for overall products manufacturing process.

2. Accomplish major tasks from department management and project.

3. Develops and maintains robust, cost efficient manufacturing processes and product structures consistent with lean manufacturing practices. Must be mindful of process and test capabilities and recognize organizational core competencies. Assists others in root cause and failure analysis as required.

4. Promotes culture of continuous improvement and understands lean manufacturing techniques as they apply to eliminate waste and deliver products to customer's expectations.

5. Implements methods and practices to reduce variation. Demonstrates ability to understand source(s) of variation and identify impact of tolerance stacks in assemblies. Understands application of SPC.

6. Participates in concurrent engineering efforts, critical design reviews, Design For Manufacturing and value engineering initiatives as growth opportunities.

7. Participates in new product development projects and continuous improvement project; articulate deliverables to commit to schedules.

8. Acts as manufacturing liaison for products from inception through shipment to customer.

9. Maintains processes and methodologies for manufacturing operations. Assists in the composition of Capital Appropriation Requests (including payback and net present value analysis) for acquisition of equipment to support emerging and existing technologies as required.

10. Assists leadership team and others in performing work load analysis and resources optimization. Extracts data from ERP systems as needed.

Requirements:

·New Product manufacturing process development experience (PDP, pro-launch etc.)

·Good at understanding of product and end user application/specifications, including product testing requirements. (Design/process interface).

·Knowledge of industry and customer specific quality processes (i.e., ISO9001, AS9100, TS16949 etc.)

·Understanding of manufacturing principles and manufacturing documentations (i.e., Process flow chart, Process key Characteristic, etc.) compose and management.

·Experience of process planning and set up.

·Proficiency in MS Office suite (i. e. experience in excel high level functions or VBA );

·Familiar with some of common design software( AutoCAD, Pro E, UG, CATIA)

·3 years and above manufacturing relevant experiences

·Good English in listening, speaking, reading and writing

·Knowledge of Lean and 6 Sigma, and problem solving methodologies.

·Self-learning and practice skill.

·Mechanical based Bachelor Degree
