Position Summary:

This position assists the Regional Finance Director with overall compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act at TI Automotive. This person interprets accounting policies, processes and procedures as they relate to SOX compliance and Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR). This role includes assisting in the development and implementation of global SOX compliance methodology, working with the Compliance Analysts to guide them in preparation/maintaining and updating SOX documentation, managing the SOX testing process, preparing reports for Executive Management and the Audit Committee and overseeing the evaluation of identified control weaknesses.

Responsibilities of Position:

1. Have a hands-on responsibility for the development and successful implementation of the global SOX compliance program in the region.

2. Document existing processes, identify weaknesses in internal controls and assess ways to address gaps

3. Develop and conduct SOX compliance training as necessary.

4. Work with other members of the Regional Compliance and Global Compliance teams to ensure consistency among the various SOX compliance initiatives.

5. Participate in the performance of Company-wide risk assessment and ICFR scoping activities for SOX compliance

6. Ensure internal control documents, including process narratives, flow charts and risk and control matrices for all processes are compliant with SOX requirements.

7. Participate in and support review of new processes and systems initiatives relevant to ICFR.

8. Work with the process owners to perform walkthroughs of all internal control documentation to help ensure that documentation is complete, properly supported, the controls are performed as documented, and to verify that the controls address the relevant risks.

9. Assist in identification of process inefficiencies and make recommendations for improvement.

10.Coordinate with internal and external auditors in their testing of controls.

11.Remains aware of current industry trends, corporate audit issues and best practices.

Skill Requirements:

1. Experience in public accounting with SEC clients performing integrated (SOX) audits highly desirable.

2. Automotive or manufacturing industry background preferred.

3. Understanding of Application controls and IT general controls.

4. Exp erience with manufacturing related accounting issues / operational finance

5. Understanding of US GAAP and GAAS.

6. Good understanding of integrated ERP systems and processes

7. Strong planning, organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and execute plans with tight deadlines.

Education and Experience Requirements:

1. Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field.

2. Qualified CPA or Chartered Accountant preferred.

3. Five + years of experience in a large accounting firm with SEC Clients or in a listed multinational company. Internal audit experience preferred. ,

Since TI Automotive FCS established the first operation in Qinhuangdao in 1987, its Bundy B&F business has achieved great success in China with thousands of staff in nearly a dozen of plants near OEM customers.
TI Automotive Systems (Shanghai)Co., Ltd which has the B&F and HVAC business under TI Automotive FCS, has about 29 global facilities in Mexico, USA, Germany, Italy, Spain, Czech, Japan, South Korea, Australia and China. In China, it has more than 10 plants for supplying a/c hose and tube assemblies, receivers/driers, accumulators, quick connectors, and TOC/EOC lines to global OEMs and a/c system suppliers worldwide, which located in Qinhuangdao, Shanghai, Yantai, Changchun, Shenyang, Tianjin, Chongqing, Wuhan, Haikou etc..
