Office Assistant

Intro:
We are a UK based importer and distributor who are rapidly expanding with over 20 years of experience sourcing in China, with over 5,000 employees globally.

We supply high volume products to the discount sector in Europe with a Buying & Sourcing office in XuHui District, Shanghai and are looking for 1 Office Assistant to join our team on a full time basis.

We are offering a generous and competitive salary for suitable applicants based upon aptitude.

Job Description:
?On the job training provided on customised management system
?Maintain and update important product information on customized internal management software, including product photos
?Prepare and organize product samples to be sent/collected and stored accordingly
?Prepare, organize and arrange for any documentation to be sent using couriers
?Sorting and distributing post
?Ensure products are displayed and stored in the correct areas at all times – and updating the internal management system accordingly
?Assist department managers in any ad-hoc assignments, reporting directly to General Office Manager

Person Specification:
?Experience with Adobe Photoshop is desired
?Responsible – Have a very strong sense of duty and accountability
?Ability to work under pressure and to meet vital deadlines
?Willing to work occasional late evenings
?Self-motivated and highly energetic
?Computer proficiency essential
?Excellent (not ‘very good’) English and Chinese skills (oral, reading and writing)
