Basic Functions:
Supporting Merchandise Manager/Merchandiser on Apparel business.


Principal Responsibilities:
1, Basic Knowledge of Apparel sourcing market in Asia especially in China.
2, Daily communication with US Home Office via email for order follows up – Production schedule monitoring. Testing, Inspection and operation related issues.
3, Work independently.
4, Provide guidance or assistance to suppliers/factories to ensure a good understanding of company’s requirements for compliance.
5, Communicate with suppliers in orders/samples/contracts follow up.


Scope Data:
Reporting to: Merchandise Manager
Position Base: Shanghai

Knowledge & Skills:
*Education: University graduated;
*Experience: Minimum of 3 years relevant working experience in export to US market on Apparel (outerwear preferred).
*Skills : Excellent verbal & written English(level 6 above); The ability to use a personal computer, including outlook Express, Microsoft word, excels, PowerPoint etc.

Its Overseas Territories include North Asia, South Asia, the Western Hemisphere, Europe and Africa. JCPPC/Product Development/Sourcing maintains purchasing offices in important markets, with an emphasis on the Far East.

JCPPC seeks to facilitate the direct import of merchandise, where appropriate, thereby creating substantial savings to the Company and impacting the gross margin of profits. Buying Units can then pass these savings on to the final customers.
