Regional Marketing Manager
BASED IN SHANGHAI, CHINA

To support and further expand our presence in China and East Asia, we are now looking for a creative and motivated professional, who will bring their marketing experience as well as expertise in the educational/language learning field to the design and execution of high quality marketing campaigns in the region.

Key responsibilities:

1. Create language learning product marketing plan and budget;
2. Execute internal product knowledge development program: sales packs, comparative competition analysis, positioning and Asia-relevant messaging, regular product trainings for sales teams;
3. Execute effective product communication to decision makers and end-users in Asia: promotional materials, product launches, special offers, pricing policy, support for local conferences and events;
4. Develop Asia regional language learning website and digital communications: project manage website development, design and supervise website traffic, create customizable emailing templates, utilize international and/or set up regional social media channels for communication with end-users;
5. Measure and report the effectiveness of marketing/e-marketing campaigns;
6. Collect and collate Market Intelligence on language learning products to report back on educational trends in the region;
7. Execute/control product marketing budget;

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:

1. University degree
2. 3+ years of project management experience in an educational context in Asia
3. Knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts
4. Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice
5. Native or near-native command of Mandarin will be a plus
6. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
7. Organization and planning skills
8. Knowledge of language teaching market in China
9. Experience teaching or training will be seen as an additional asset
